我是xx师范大学外语学院英语系xx级一名学生，即将于明年七月完成本科学业，真正地步入社会，开始人生新一段征程。
上大学后，我最郑重地告诉自己一句话是：学通你专业，利用它为你人生开辟道路。于是我以交际英语为方向，首先侧重于打好基础，从听、说、读、写几方面训练基本技能，在达到自如地运用英语基础上，我涉猎了英美概况、英美文学、语言学等相关专业知识。同时，我还自学了部分经贸英语知识，这些努力不仅使我专业水平每年都有相应提高，而且扩展了视野、丰富了头脑，并使我于大二时以良好成绩通过了英语专业四级考试，还将于明年三月参加专业八级测试。
深知语言交际作用重应性，我特别注重学以致用。除了积极地、有选择地参加院、校组织活动外，我还时常参加英语角，陪同外国访问团，翻译一些资料，在课外辅导班做兼职教师等。这让我有机会结交了很多朋友，丰富了阅历，而且感到生活更加充实。
